Orzo La Molisana is a 100% Italian premium pasta made from precisely selected durum wheat, which is milled in our own stone mills. Orzo is a type of pasta similar in shape to barley and consists of small grains. It cooks quickly and is a great base for salads, side dishes and risotto-like dishes. It is also used extensively in the preparation of soups. La Molisana pasta is extruded through bronze nozzles, resulting in a texture similar to homemade pasta in unique, innovative shapes. The wheat is grown in Mollisa, a region with unique conditions for pasta production that cannot be replicated anywhere else - pure oligomineral water and fresh unpolluted air.
