Trahana is a loved staple food throughout Greece and the Balkans. It is a mixture of only the highest quality fresh produce Greece has to offer: durum wheat semolina, yoghurt, fresh eggs and nothing else. Traditionally prepared in the form of a thick, super nutritious soup with a high content of proteins, vitamins and fiber. The perfect soup to start the day on cold winter mornings and a comforting dinner at any time of the year. How to use Trahana with yoghurt and eggs - organic:
Prepare as a warming, comforting soup: cook for about 8 minutes in boiling water, or broth of your choice, to a thick (porridge-like) consistency. Season with a little salt, cayenne and crumble a generous amount of feta and croutons on top (the feta can also be replaced with grated hard cheese).
